The tiger from The Tiger Who Came to Tea by Judith Kerr and the cat which appears right at the end of the book and isn't really mentioned, but I think it's significant that it's all stripey and orange. It made me wonder if the girl had seen the cat earlier and then imagined or dreamed that it was a tiger coming to tea. Maybe I'm thinking that because Mog, the forgetful cat who's the star of a series of books by Kerr, licks a little girl, Debbie, while she's asleep and Debbie wakes up screaming because in her dream she imagines she's about to be eaten by a tiger.
My tiger is drinking all the water in the kettle (a button I found online and bought for this project).
And here's the cat.
